Following comments made by former Presidential press secretary Tamale Mirundi, that Ugandan musicians are useless and irrelevant to the community, he has been called a fool.
Mirundi said; “Bebe Cool is not influencial at all yet he was chosen to lead the project. Even Simon Kagwanjala is more popular than the said Bebe. Chameleone is still begging for handouts years after he has been in the music industry. You would expect him to be having a lot of money. Rema Namakula is only popular because of her man. Only Ronald Mayinja and Bobi Wine would have saved the project.”
Speaking to the media on Tuesday afternoon, Bebe Cool noted that Tamale has turned into a comedian who is slowly becoming a fool.
“If artistes are irrelevant, why is he addressing us on national TV? I don’t care about him or what he says, he is an empty tin and full of nonsense. He is like a fool,” Bebe Cool said.
