Kids of Africa initiative today during a press conference held at Sheraton Kampala hotel Lions centre announced their intention to raise funds to construct a modern dental clinic in Bweranga in Wakiso district. The dental clinic construction is to improve the health standards of the residents of Bweranga and the neighboring areas of Wakiso.

The funds are intended to be raised through a fun run scheduled to take place on 8th November where every participant will pay 15,000 shillings to take part.

Sheraton Kampala Hotel being one of the sponsors of the run will provide some prizes for winners in the various categories like 5km, 10km and 21km categories. It has also sponsored 30 runners to participate in the marathon.

Sheraton Kampala Hotel’s Sales and Marketing Director Jennifer Musiime commented at the conference and said they are privileged to be part of this noble cause. Supporting such initiatives is part of their demeanor like they fed thousands of needy children from all over Kampala during Ramathan and many other initiatives that they have supported in the past.
