It is not all fun for songbird Irene Ntale who recently embarked on an upcountry music tour. After a successful show in Mbarara, the “Gyobera” hit maker had hoped for the same in Kasese only for the concert to end up in chaos.
According to our sources, fans became restless after Irene Ntale failed to hit the stage as the show promoter struggled to sort the sound issues.
“Irene Ntale had no choice but to flee the scene as the fans grew restless. This was after the sound system provided by the promoter failed to work before she could even step on stage,” the source intimated to us.
“The fans ended up rioting and causing commotion and the police had to intervene with tear gas as the streets were filled with an angry mob of disappointed fans,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Irene Ntale was lucky to escape the scene unscathed, as a lot of property was left damaged by the disappointed fans.
