Bebe Cool wins award at the Africa Entertainment Awards in Canada

Musician Bebe Cool has beaten Nigerian music stars to take home the Best African Reggae/Dancehall artiste award in the Africa Entertainment Awards that were held last evening at Living Art centre, Mississauga, Canada.

Bebe Cool triumphed over Nigerian artistes like Cynthia Morgan, Burna Boy and Patoranking who were also nominated in the Best African Reggae/Dancehall category. Also nominated in the same category was Ghanaian singer Shatta Wale.

The “Love you everyday” hit-maker who started a campaign to see local music topple Nigerian music as far as airplay is concerned is leading by example and ensuring Uganda shines on the international platforms.

Meanwhile, Bebe Cool was also one of the performers on the evening. He entertained guests with his single Freedom, off his 2015 Go Mama album.
