Musicians Catherine Kusasira and Iryn Namubiru who have been involved in the Lyto boss song theft saga have turned the swords against each other.
The two musicians who have up until now been close friends despite the challenges and the incident where Catherine was jailed because of Iryn almost fought with both parties threatening to reveal dirty secrets.
“Who does Iryn think she is to go around threatening me. She doesn’t know that there are a lot of things we know about her but we are just quiet. She shouldn’t press my buttons because she will not like it. And if she is not very careful with me I will spill all her secrets,” Catherine said in her local parlance.
Catherine said all this in relation to threats issued by Iryn saying that she will throw her in jail again for conniving with Lyto boss to defraud her and Fusion records of 1 million shillings which was meant to pay for a song called ‘Anjagala’ that Lyto boss says he wrote and asked Catherine to get buyers for it.
This saga at one point led to the arrest of Catherine who spent a night in the coolers at Kigo before she was bailed out. Lyto boss also tasted the coolers over the same issue.
