Days after most Ugandan tabloids run a viral story about NTV’s news anchor Frank Walusimbi leaving the Serena based Television to Bukedde television for a juicier pay, the Luganda news reader has finally come out and refuted the allegations saying he is very comfortable at NTV and has no such plans of leaving for another station.
Walugembe posted on his facebook timeline “There is a false story that has been picked up by sections of the media saying that I am leaving NTV. The story cites that I am ‘in talks’ with Vision Group to join Bukedde TV. I want to make it known that I am still with NTV. Work is going on normally at NTV and with the rest of the team, we are committed to deliver our best. I thank all the fans; I have come to know that you have a keen interest in my career path. Thank you!”
The rumour started circulating after Bukedde Agataliko Nfuufu reader Patrick Kazaalabwana Mukasa crossed to NTV a few days back and since then it has been rumoured Frank could cross over to make a seemingly successful swap deal.
