The Uganda National football team, ‘The Cranes’ has already started residential training at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru ahead of their trip to Comoros for the 2017 AFCON qualifiers.
Head coach, Sredojevic ‘Micho’ Milutin has urged the team not to underestimate their opponents even when they rank lower than Uganda in the latest FIFA rankings. ( Comoros are ranked 186th while Uganda are 73rd.). “Comoros too, is well prepared because it has invited 19 professionals for the upcoming game” He said
Meanwhile, William Luwagga Kizito who plays for Portuguese top flight side, Rio Ave Football Club joined the rest of the teammates on Monday night and all other professionals who are not yet in the country are expected to be in the camp by the end of the day.
