Sophie Baguma, the mother to singers – Maurice Kirya and Vampino Kirya – will be buried at her ancestral home in Rwenkoole along Masindi-Hoima road today afternoon.
Sophie who had been admitted at Mulago hospital in a critical condition early last week, passed away on Sunday, succumbing to cancer.
Here’s what Vampino had to say as he paid his last respects to his mother: “The Kirya family is now missing one pillar. God grant us the energy to be strong with out her physically, network and walk with her in spirit in whatever we do. Mom, may your soul rest in peace”
