The weekend has ended on a sad note in the entertainment fraternity as Mwooyo singer and Sound Cup proprietor, Maurice Kirya has lost his mother.
Mama Kirya passed on today after being rushed to hospital in comma three days ago. Ms Sophie Baguma has been battling cancer for a long time.
Fellow celebrities have started sending condolence messages to singing brothers Kirya and Vampino.
Radio presenter Brian Mckenzie had this to say; “When I met this lovely woman, she reminded me of my late mother. Kirya talked about his mom every chance he got and everything he said, I saw it for myself. It’s so sad that she has passed on so early but surely she has done her Job among us pretty well and she deserves and Peaceful rest.”
Singer Irene Ntale also stated; “RIP MamaKirya. I hope and pray that God comforts your amazing Children in this hard time. Rest With The Angels above.”
