Ziza Bafana

 By Tuhairwe Joab

It was such a sad moment for the popular “Pomini Pomini” hit maker, Ziza Bafana, after his show at Kati Kati grounds was cancelled on Friday evening.

Having injected a lot money and time into his concert with an expectation of a huge turn up, the singer was left to wipe tears after KCCA officials blocked his concert on the last minute. The show was canceled on grounds that the organizers of the show did not clear with KCCA.

The sad story that befell Bafana therefore should send a warning to other musicians that are planning to hold concerts around the city to seek clearance from the authorities to avoid such frustration.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that it is not only Ziza who has been in a similar situation as Chameleone’s concert last year at Lugogo Cricket Oval was almost canceled on the same grounds although the singer managed to salvage it on the last minute.
