Uganda will soon join a list of countries signed up to the www.internet.org project which ensures that citizens can access Facebook and other crucial websites for free.

BigEye.ug has learned that Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg will be coming to Uganda in August or September and will among other things launch internet.org in Uganda and also hold a high level meeting with the President.

Zuckerberg won’t be traveling alone, Facebook COO, Sheryl Sandberg is also one of those traveling with the guy who started Facebook in his dorm room and is now worth billions of dollars.

Finally, Zuckerberg will be launching two start-up incubators in Uganda in a bid to create a silicon valley of a kind in Uganda. However, many skeptics are worried about Tom Okwalinga since Zuckerberg will be meeting the President who may request access to information about this gentleman.

The dates on which the Facebook founder is coming are yet to be confirmed, however, his visit is being handled by the Minister in charge of ICT.

Prepare to Facebook till your deaths.
