Uganda Kobs

By Our Reporter

With just a week to Uganda Kobs’ clash with Egypt in the 3rd round return leg of the CAF U-23 Africa Championship qualifiers, the venue for the match has been shifted.

The match scheduled for 1st August, 2015 was to be played at the Nakivubo War Memorial stadium but reports coming in indicate it won’t be available for use on the desired weekend as far as football is concerned.

Apparently the stadium is unavailable due to an upcoming social event. Information from Nakivubo states that the stadium was booked by Radio Simba for 2nd August, a date said to be set for their annual event locally known as ‘Ekiggunda Kyomwaka’.

This now implies that the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has to contact Namboole stadium as the alternative venue for the match.
