When musician Emmanuel Mayanja aka AK47 passed on under unclear circumstances in March this year, Ugandans from all corners of the city including President Museveni contributed large sums of money to help house the singer’s widow Maggie and her children. As you would expect human beings to be, it turns out some people want to chase her from the house along with her kids. Maggie has threatened to drag them to court.
News on our desks indicates that Maggie has decided to drag some members of her deceased hubby’s family to court for plotting to take her house.
“She wants the singer’s twins to grow up in a place they call home that was built by their dad and his well-wishers. It seems some elements don’t want to allow her to do this and she has vowed to take them to court because as the singers widow, she is entitled to the house,” said a source.
It seems Maggie is resolved to get a roof over her children’s heads and nothing will stop her.
