With just 30 days left to the Netball World Cup, She Cranes sensational star Peace Proscovia is beguiled with attitude in the camp as the ladies continue with intensified preparations for the biggest stage of the sport.

The Uganda National Netball team was seeded with Wales, Fiji and Zambia for the group stages at the forthcoming world cup slated for August 7-16 in Sydney, Australia.

In an interview with the New Vision, the NIC Goal Shooter (GS) who was returning from a two-week long illness, said: “We have started well and everyone seems cooperative. Staying together teaches you a lot about each other and I am sure we shall not just be friends but sisters by the time we go for the world cup.”

The skipper further revealed that the team has great potential to attain victory given their willingness to fight.

“We have always emerged victorious even without going into camp and this shows how much we are willing to fight for our country but now that this chance has come, the nation should expect much better results,” she said.
