Sweden based Ugandan blogger Peng Peng has accused musicians of abusing drugs. Here’s what he posted:
“These two female artists are fuckin talented,When we talk about Dancehall, Sheebah Karungi has been holding the Ugandan Flag &You cant mention any Ugandan female hiphop artist and fail to acknowledge KEKO.Its so heart breaking that the two young artists abuse/mis-use Drugs.
There is nothing n i repeat absolutely Nothing Fun about consuming drugs. Africans we tend to copy these International artists but we should put it into consideration that we are selling our culture. As a parent,I would feel embarrassed raising my daughter turning from once an adorable young princess to a complete lunatic.
Today Juliana Kanyomozi, Joanita Kawalya, Mariam Ndagiire, Nandujja etc are respected in the music industry because they inspire female Upcoming muscians and empower women.
My question is,How will these drug addicts stay in the game when they act like fools.My international female artist was Whitney Houston,She was talented just like KEKO&SHEEBAH but she died due to drugs.How about the greatest hard core rapper DMX,The man lost it completely.
I hear Keko was dragged to Butabika true or false tosobola kuwakana lwanjaga.Sheebah yefukila mungoye in public,Tanaba,etc why why why why!!!!!!! We all have our history but our history will never determine our destiny stop consuming cheap drugs and let that be part of your history n move on.
I think these two ladies can change and live a positive life because they have fans who love them but if you cant give your fans a reason to respect you,They will eventually say enuff is enuff to hell with these luzers kuba muli bakyala.
