Dynamic duo, Radio and Weasel, signed a contract at the start of their music relationship 10 years ago. Word coming from Neverland ranch is that this contract will expire this year and the future is still not clear.
We have received information from a well-placed source at the Radio and Weasel camp that the two business partners who are at the verge of break up will be released from their contractual obligations of working together in December.
According to the source, the contract which was initiated by their former manager and now Team No Sleep manager, Jeff Kiwa, stipulated that the two had to work together for a decade.
According to the contract, we have been told that Radio is the biggest shareholder in the venture. This explains a lot since he has always acted bossy on matters regarding the duo. From handling his partner like his kid to refusing to perform at several concerts yet Weasel was ready to work, he has been the ‘big’ bad boy.
However our source was not free to share information on whether the two singers will renew their contract starting 2016, and your guess remains as good as ours.
Radio has done several solo projects like ‘Neera’ during his tenure in the music group, so has his partner Weasel who has done Wiggle Wiggle and Wine. The duo has not once or twice but on several occasions been at logger heads with each other. At one point, we are told, the duo was not speaking to or looking into each other’s eye.
“I don’t know if they will renew the contract. We just hope they do,” the source revealed.
