He is their wall papers, screen savers, fantasy, ideal man, name it. They love and adore him but their touch gives him goose pimples. So, what makes Navio so afraid of Ugandan babes?
One of the most admired, talented and successful son of the Pearl is not so moved by daughters of the land. He loves to party with the boys and keeps his videos devoid of raunchy babes. It is this growing concern that is said to have inspired his latest ”songs for the ladies” in a way to make up with their hungry affections and it is not surprising that he has achieved a rare feat of keeping his love life secret. What is the secret? The motivation?
Yours truly navigates why the most award winning urban artiste does not tread on the path of the daughters of Eve.
1. FOCUS… FOCUS! His friends confess that Navio is a workaholic, keeping his focus on carrying his career to the highest level possible. He will go and perform at a school function in Busheyi while the average artiste spends the night away in Kampala’s nightclubs. No wonder, his hard work is paying off! Upcoming artistes should take note.
2. FAMILY REPUTATION. The Blick Family has given birth to generations of successful public figures with stain free careers. Navio with all the temptations around him, is challenged not to be the black stain on white linen. So far so good!
3. BEEN THERE, SEEN BETTER! Bambi, not even your Sunday best will attract this man’s attention. Navio is said to the most traveled artiste in Uganda spending less than a month in the country before flying off to another continent or country. With this exposure, your Kikuubo legging will get tabloid space but not his mind! Gosh, am mean!
4. LOOKS BETTER!!! Is this an insult? Nope! Just A fact. This guy looks after himself better than most Ugandan girls who prefer sisal made wigs instead of growing natural hair! While you bleach out that skin, he already has the complexion you desire and you expect him not to be afraid??
5.FAME SEEKERS. Dating Navio is equivalent to dating fame and money. With many girls on the loose for money and power, he responds by keeping his belt tight, his head clear! So you most probably see him in company of Judith Heard and the like, not a random babe out there!
6. FANS… JUST FANS. While girl smiles at him or serenades her eyes… it’s clear she is star struck! Fans will be fans!
7. PRYING TABLOIDS. Tabloids are so mean! Some will make up stories in the name of sales once given a stimulating situation to write about. But you can’t blame them; it is their business to mind other people’s business. How can you invite fire to your laps and expect not to be burnt! For that reason, he is said to attend invite-only house parties to escape tabloid embarrassment.
8. ALREADY BOOKED. Though not confirmed, Navio is said to be having a child and a woman. With such responsibility, it’s unlikely to spot him in company of the other women.
9. AN ICON. Navio is an inspiration, a role model to the youth out there. After bagging several awards, many look up to him. He is father figure.
