The wind of change is blowing left, right and centre across all media houses especially TV stations and Bukedde TV appears to be scared of the change.

The birth of Delta TV seems to have given Bukedde TV management sleepless nights with the two stations set to share the same target audience.

After the Kibuye based TV station acquired the services of two renowned media personalities, Robinah Mweruka and Jaxta, tension has been building up at the Industrial Area based Bukedde TV.

According to our reliable sources, the management of Bukedde TV summoned all its workers especially presenters for a Sunday meeting to discuss their potential threat Delta TV.

In the meeting that lasted over 2 hours, workers were told to pull up their socks lest Delta takes over their position in the pecking order.

Flavia was told to watch his longtime rival Jaxta as their shows now collide. While at Record, Jaxta was hosting his show from 4pm to 6pm but still was strong competitor winning 2 consecutive awards in the RTV Academy awards in a category where Flavia was a nominee.

After taking on his new roles, Jaxta will be directly competing with her having put his show on the same time Flavia hosts his show on Bukedde TV.

It was also highlighted that the workers should bare in mind that Sempala, the brain behind the popular Agataliko Nfufu,  also crossed over to Delta TV and is the head of production, along with Robinah Mweruka.

It should also be noted that Bukedde has been very popular in Buganda due to its relationship with the government of Mengo, however that is about to change as Delta TV is rumoured to be owned by one of the high powers in Buganda Kingdom despite Ntake being fronted as it’s face.

The battle of supremacy seems to have now started!
