Tanzanian model and actress, Wema Sepetu, could soon venture into politics as she has expressed her interest in running for Member of Parliament special seat.
The Miss Tanzania 2006 could in October 2015, be the new special seat woman MP hailing from Singida.
Her manager, Martin Kadinda, took to Instagram to post a photo of Wema dressed in political party clothes which have logo of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), and captioned it: Mbele kwa mbele…#JanaIlikuwaNdotoLeoNimaamuzi #BeTheVoice #Inawezekana #2015Walktoremember (We are marching forward; yesterday it was a dream and today it is a decision. Wema, be the voice of the people, and all is possible. 2015 will be the year to remember)
It seems the TV beauty has decided to walk in the footsteps of his late father, Ambassador Abraham Isaac Sepetu, who was a prominent Tanzanian politician and former Ambassador to Russia.
