One of Uganda's best young folk artists Joel Sebunjo plays at Sauti za Busara. This year, the festival features more than 200 artists from 32 countries.

Arguably Uganda’s most recognized folk musician, Joel Sebunjo has threatened to drop his Ugandan citizenship. This comes after Sebunjo missed some important appointments abroad following the delay in renewing his travel documents.

The Kora maestro aired his frustration with the Uganda Passport Office on social media where he posted:“Uganda Passport Office please & please sort yo selves and try being professional. After the pages of my previous passport all being used up, you make it so frustrating to hand me a new travel book. Last week I missed a very important meeting of my career in Geneva because of you ! and am not ready to miss my next mission in Los Angeles in few days because of you again. If you dont give my fresh passport tomorrow morning .. Wallahi .. AM GONNA DROP MY UGANDAN CITIZENSHIP period ! … Passports are not for decoration … they are for travellers”
