6 Bad Bedroom Habits to Avoid for Better Sex

Recent research suggests that our busy schedules and lifestyle changes can take a toll on our bedroom life, thereby causing bad bedroom behaviour and poor sleeping habits. All these factors ultimately affect our sex life. In order to boost a stagnant sex life, here are a few bedroom habits to avoid.

You have a messy bedroom

A crowded and cluttered bedroom will constantly distract and cause stress. Looking at heaps of laundry and paperwork will remind you of all the things to be done. This will only affect your moods, thereby making you want to avoid sex. Clean all the clutter, get some rest and make the bedroom a peaceful love lair to enjoy sex.

You go to bed at different times

We all have different job timings, which regulate our sleeping hours. Working night shift or early morning shifts will also affect your sex life. Make it a point to make an arrangement to get intimate at other times so that you both won’t drift apart.

Your kids sleep in the same bed

Most parents allow their kids to share their bed, however, this could affect your bedroom life. Not only will it not give you the chance to get intimate but it will also hamper your resting hours.

You have a television in the bedroom

Watching television in bed can be a big distraction that will take up your bedroom time. Instead of spending time talking or cuddling with your partner you’ll be drawn to watch TV. To boost your sex life, make sure your bedroom is a television free zone.

You eat in bed

Finding crumbs and sticky bits in the bed can be a complete turn off. Keep your bed  a food free zone to boost your sex life.

You work in bed

For a happier bedroom and sex life, keep your work and the stress related to it out of bed. Don’t spend mindless hours scrolling through your laptops and smart phones. Make the bed a work free zone.
