THANK GOD: Musician who collapsed in Market is now recovering. [Photos]

Musician Mamuli Katumba who collapsed in the market yesterday and was feared dead is now recovering.

The Kadongo Kamu singer who got a seizure while going about his business in Kibuye Market yesterday is now regaining his strength.

Mamuli who reportedly collapsed due to high blood glucose and went into comma for a few hours was rushed to hospital and given medical care.

His relatives and friends who were very worried about his life started praying as doctors did their best to save him. As we write this, he can now communicate and afford a smile in his hospital bed.

“He was passing around in the market speaking to his fans when he suddenly fell on the ground and went silent. He looked dead to many and some of the fans could be heard weeping,” said a snoop who rushed to Kibuye moments after the musician collapsed.

“He was however rushed to hospital and treated, he is now talking but still under the doctor’s watchful eyes,” he added.

The singer is known among fans for his songs; Nandudu Embale, Emboozi Ya Kafeero and Abakkazi.

We wish him a quick recovery.
