Augustine Nsumba’s sole strike was enough to send Sports Club Villa into this year’s Uganda Cup finals as the ‘Blues’ cruised past Bul fc at Nakivubo stadium during their return leg.

On Sunday evening at the heart of Kampala, Villa made no mistake, beating Jinja based side Bul fc 1-0 as they kept their hopes alive for winning a double this season.

Villa made their way into the finals on a 2-0 aggregate after winning the home and away fixtures of the semi-finals of this year’s Uganda Cup.

The Blues had earlier pocketed a 1-0 win during their first leg that saw them make a trip to Jinja where Denis Kamanzi scored the only goal of the game.

In a final that will be played in western Uganda, Villa will be seeking their 9th Uganda Cup title just like their rivals Kampala Capital City Authority who they will be facing on their date.
