Once again, expectations will be high when defending champions Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC host Express FC today at the Phillip Omondi Stadium in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL).
Having returned to their winning ways on Sunday during their Uganda Cup semi-final first leg clash with Lweza as they edged the Kajjansi boys by 1-0, KCCA FC will be optimistic to carry the same winning spirit as they take on Wasswa Bossa’s side Express fc in a Yellow and Red affair.
The two sides suffered defeats in their last league outings last week on Friday with KCCA losing to Vipers by 2-0 in an own goal described encounter while the Red Eagles lost 2-1 to Kiira Young.
Despite having slimed their chances of retaining the title, KCCA are still third on the summit with 50 points from 25 games. 19 points separate the two sides with Express standing 8th on the table with 31 points from 25 games.
Elsewhere Sadolin Paints will welcome a gradually sinking Soana following their 3-1 loss to SC Villa last week on Friday as second bottom side Rwenshama host Bul fc at the Nakivubo stadium.
Tuesday Fixtures:
KCCA vs Express fc
Rwenshama vs Bul fc
Sadolin Paints vs Soana
Kiira Young vs URA
