Alcoholism is a habit that can destroy even the greatest of men. People are often advised to restrict their alcohol intake in order to avoid destroying their lives and careers. This is the same advice that fans are giving Mary Luswata following her recent alcohol saga.
The local TV star was over the weekend snapped by snoops having a good time which turned sour after she took a lot of alcohol. According to friends, Luswata started by gulping booze like it was passion fruit juice as she hanged out with her friends at the shores of Lake Victoria.
We are told that she later lost control of herself and started jumping onto any man in the vicinity. Mary was seen doing all sorts of nasty things leaving fellow celebs who were in the area like Alex the comedian and Vince Musisi of Swangz wondering what was on her mind.
Several fans have taken to Facebook to advise Mary to drop her drinking habits if she still wants to be influential in Uganda. “She has to stop. After I saw those pictures of her throwing herself on men, I was left in shock. That is how careers are destroyed by spending more time with the bottle than doing developmental things. She has to end this madness because that girl was becoming a hot cake in this TV industry,” said one of her followers on Facebook.
Mary has been taking a break from her TV show, Scoop on Scoop that airs on Urban TV every weekday. Word in the Urban TV corridors is that she had demanded for a higher pay which the company was unwilling to pay. We will keep an ear on the ground and keep you posted.
