Sports Club Villa have moved to second place after being awarded 3 points and 3 goals at the expense of Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).

The development came upon conviction of the Tax Collectors for fielding a player that had accumulated three yellow cards therefore had to serve a one match suspension. The player in question is Said Kyeyune who played in the fixture between the Tax collectors and the Blues that ended in a one-all draw at the Mehta Stadium in Lugazi.

According to article 20(8) of FUFA Competitions Rules 2014/2015, a player who accumulates three 3 yellow cards in the league automatically becomes ineligible for the next game.

This is the third time SC Villa has been awarded three points and three goals in a boardroom decision with the first two decisions coming at the expense of league rivals Express fc after their ties ended prematurely in both legs.

Villa now move to second spot on the table with 51 points from 23 games and just two points behind table leaders Vipers who have played a game more than the Blues.
