Following rumours that musician Rema had stolen Swang Ave. affiliated singer Winnie Nwagi’s song titled ‘Katono Katono’, Winnie’s management has come out to put the rumours to rest. It’s alleged that Rema’s ‘Obuntu obutonotono’  is a replica of Winnie’s ‘Katono Katono’.

Winnie’s management revealed that the two songs in contention were written by different people and thus it’s not true that Rema stole Winnie’s song.

“We  want to clear the air concerning rumor spreading that Remah stole Winnie Nwagi’s song ‘Katono Katono’.  These two songs, Remah’s ‘Obuntu obutonotono’ and Winnie’s ‘Katono katono’ were written by two different  people. It is not appropriate for us to comment on Remah’s song but we can comment on Winnie Nwagi’s song,” Swang Avenue’s Veronica Luggya commented on the rumours.
