Rosemary Nankabirwa’s former co-workers start fundraising drive to save her.

Rosemary Nankabirwa’s former co-workers and sympathisers have launched a drive a to raise funds to help fund her treatment and save her life. The former NTV news anchor is battling skin cancer and curently needs ‘spiritual and financial help’, according to her family.

“We have had speculations and wrong information about Rosemary but I have talked to Rosemary’s mother and the family needs spiritual and financial help, we will have Rose’s back if you reach in your pocket and pull out anything. Well-wishers could deposit any assistance to Faridah Nakazibwe’s number 0782649931 or to account No. 37329942994 Diamond Trust Bank, Rebecca Kibirige,” the team behind the drive told us.

Rosemary Nanakbirwa is currently admitted at Uganda Cancer Institute, Mulago.

The campaign has received positive back with several celebrities jumping on board to urge their fans to contribute to the cause. Among these is female songbird Juliana Kanyomozi who has appealed to her fans to save Rosemary through contributing to her treatment. “I appeal to those of you who can, to come together so we can help save our news anchor Rosemary Nankabirwa who is battling cancer at Mulago Cancer Institute. She needs us right now,” she said.
