Chameleone

By Lee Osbourne

Jose Chameleone’s song titled Come Home is currently being used to encourage Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) fighters to return back home and abandon their rebel activities.

BigEye.Ug has learnt that joint force of African Union Regional Counter-LRA Task Force (AU-RTF) and US Special Operations Forces are always playing the song from their helicopters’ loudspeakers over the jungles of Central African Republic, dropping flyers with phone numbers and addresses to specific points where the LRA fighters can receive help after returning back home as their new technique to lure them out of the bush.

The joint force is using Chameleone’s song because of it’s appealing message that calls upon LRA fighters to come back home as their families await them.
