Viewers were left in shock on Tuesday this week when Iryn Namubiru pinned a fellow musician accusing her of theft on air.
While appearing on the Beat TV show, the Temperature singer said that Golden Bands, Catherine Kusasira stole her 2 million shillings. Iryn said that Catherine approached her with a song which she said would sound very well in her voice. “Because I respected her, I accepted the song and decided to sing it,” Iryn said.
She then demand for 2 million shillings which the singer paid gladly out of respect and friendship. To her utter horror, the same song was released by another artiste called Little Boss on the same day she premiered her song.
“When I released the song, little boss came saying that I stole the song yet I had paid money for it. I am very disappointed,” said Iryn.
