Felippe

By Tuhairwe Joab

Many artistes have fallen off the radar and among them is singer Felippe . It was around 2007 when the vocally gifted singer known as Felippe hit the music industry with a banger dubbed “Magala Gangye”, a song that took Kampala by storm. However, the singer soon disappeared after he decided to concentrate on his studies at UCU.

It was not until recently when our snoops ran into Felippe aka Phillip Emuli, an Itesot by tribe who knows close to 7 languages, trying to make ends meet. He was bumped into in Jinja a few days ago where he was performing at a hotel gunning for coins from the fans.

However, when the singer was reached, he told the snoops that he’s not seated, but working on alot of music under his group called Pay In Full (PIF). Felippe says he’s  worked on a couple of RNB and hip hop songs despite receiving little airplay in Kampala.
