On Tuesday evening at Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium, league killers of Kiira Young had no mercy for relegation strugglers KJT Rwenshama.
Nkuubi Brain broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute following a goalless first 45minutes to give Kiira a well-deserved lead. Unstoppable substitute Patrick Kaddu who replaced Yudah Mugalu continued to stir the game when he netted a brace, with his first goal coming in the 67th minute before adding another two minutes later.
Head coach Paul Nkata, father of Fred Nkata Junior was impressed by his side’s performance despite his son having received matching orders in the same game. Rwenshama’s Sam Mukasa was also sent off in the same game.
“I’m glad we were able to pick this crucial away win. I hope we can build on it moving on,” Nkata said.
On the same day, Soana edged bottomed side Entebbe fc with a 3-2 victory at the Kavumba stadium in Wakiso.
Soana, Rwenshama and Entebbe remain in the bottom three of the table with 20, 15 and 10 points respectively.
