Under-23 national team, the Uganda Kobs have safely returned from Maputo, Mozambique after sharing spoils with the hosts on Saturday following a goalless draw at the end of the 90 minutes in the first leg clash of the All Africa Games qualifier with Mozambique.
The Kobs contingent was led by FUFA official Richard Ochom and arrived at the Entebbe International Airport with Ethiopian Airlines Boeing ET 332 at 1:10 a.m.
“We created some scoring opportunities but failed to convert them. We shall be working on that aspect in the remaining days and get ready for the return leg. The team training is expected to start this week after a technical meeting. Communication will be made at the weekly FUFA press conference on Wednesday,” head coach Sredjovich ‘Micho’ Milutin told the federation’s website upon arrival.
