Rihanna, 27, and Chris Brown, 25, have been broken up for years, but that doesn’t mean they’ve severed ties with each other completely. On Rihanna’s special day, Chris took the time to make sure she knew he was thinking about her, according to a hot new report.
“Chris called her this morning after she landed in LA and wished her a happy birthday,” a source told Urban Islandz. “The call lasted a few minutes and was candid and of course RiRi thought that was a sweet gesture.”
That was so nice of Chris. Regardless of what these two have been through in the past, a special birthday call is always a sweet thing to do.
“Because they are not together now people think that they don’t speak any at all, but they are still friends and still care about each other,” the source continued.
Rihanna and Chris were on-again-off-again from 2008 to 2013.
