Uganda rises by one spot in the latest FIFA rankings

According to the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) rankings that were released yesterday at the body’s base in Zurich, Switzerland, Uganda has risen by one position moving from 77th to 76th with 464 points.

Meanwhile, the Cranes lie 21st on the African continent ranking table, two places behind Rwanda who are 19th. The Amavubi Stars remained top of the CECAFA region with Uganda in second position while Ethiopia, Tanzania, Sudan, Kenya, Burundi, South Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia and Djibouti follow in that order.

The Desert Foxes of Algeria remained in the number one spot for Africa with the 2015 Africa Cup champions of Ivory Coast coming second.

2014 world cup winners, Germany still tops the world log while the runners up Argentina have also maintained their second spot.
