There is a number of Ugandan celebrities who become lovers while they were still workmates. The couples have built their relationships from scratch with some taking marriage vows and others breaking up as soon as they hooked up. Today we present the top four celebs who were workmates before they turned into lovers.
Bobi Wine and Barbie K.
The Ghetto gladiator, Bobi Wine, who is always talking about the love of his life, Barbie K, met in the work environment before falling in love. The couple that now has three kids together, Solomon Kampala Nyanzi, Shalom Namagembe and Shadraq Shilling Mbogo, met at National theatre during their days at Makerere University. The two who were both doing acting jobs couldn’t get enough of each other and in 2011, they tied the knot.
Nickita Bachu and Gareth Onyango.
Nickita and Gareth met when they were working at club Rouge. Gareth who was the marketing manager of the club before moving to Kabalagala based Club Venom, fell in love with his Marketing assistance Nickita. The two later threw in the towel at the Jinja road based bar and moved to Venom. They have a pretty daughter together called Kylie.
Lilian and Mowzey Radio.
Mowzey Radio couldn’t keep his eyes off Lilian Mbabazi when they were working on a collabo called “Where you are” back in April 2009. The collabo was between the Good lyfe boys and former Blue*3 girls. The two who met at Fenon studios decided to give a relationship together a try. They ended up with two beautiful children. Their relationship has been on and off since the birth of their first child.
Mathew and Eleanor Nabwiso.
The two met when The Hostel TV series was a big hit in Uganda. They started dating when the show was still going on and ended up becoming a couple. Eleanor introduced Nabwiso to her parents in Mukono after she had become pregnant thanks to the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards 2013 winner. Mathew and Eleanor got married in July 2013 and moments after she dropped a second child.
