Chris Brown reportedly wants to marry Karrueche Tran before his next court date.
The 25-year-old singer attended a progress report hearing with Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin yesterday and his probation was revoked by the magistrate, which means he could potentially return to jail.
And it’s claimed Chris is eager to make on/off girlfriend Karrueche Tran his wife before he returns in front of the judge a couple months from now.
“[Chris is] scared and he’s contemplating marrying Karrueche now before his situation gets worse,” a source told Hollywood Life. “If Chris has to go to prison for a while, he wants Karrueche to be taken care of and in charge of his entire estate. In order for that to happen, he’d have to marry her. He doesn’t trust many people and his mother isn’t really in a position to be in charge of all his stuff. He loves Karrueche, trusts her and wants her to be in control, should he have to go to prison.”
Judge Brandlin informed Chris the singer is allowed to remain out of jail until a further hearing on March 20, when he will be presented with an updated probation report from officials.
But it’s unclear right now whether the Deuces crooner will have his freedom for long.
“Chris is thinking ahead because he doesn’t know what will happen in March,” the insider said. “He could go to prison or he could be free. But what he does know is that he wants his girl to have full and complete access and power over all of his affairs and to make sure that legally happens.”
Chris was put on probation following his assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. His probation was revoked in 2013 after he was accused of hitting a man outside a Washington, DC hotel. He also ended up serving time in prison last year after being kicked out of rehab.
