NTV’s Maureen Kintu joined the Arts industry a couple of years back as a movie editor. She has worked on projects like Guyika, No turning back among others that brought her to the limelight in Uganda and was picked for several film festivals including the Pearl International Film Festival 2012 for best editor.
It’s upon this background that Serena based NTV picked interest in employing her as their editor. She’s a big fish in preparing Deception, a TV series that has most Ugandans on tenterhooks.
However to many people’s surprise, in the recent past, Mauren Kintu stormed studios to record music and her debut reggae song “Dim the light” is already enjoying airplay on the local waves.
