Toolman

By Stuart G-Khast

Toolman Kibalama famously known for his “Ekisumuluzo” hit has been on the music scene for as long as the pioneers of Dancehall music in the Ugandan music industry.

Popular for his vigorous and energetic performances, Toolman became known to many when he did his hit single “Kisumuluzo” shortly after a seceding from Bobi Wine’s Fire base Crew and has then since then given his fan base song after the other.

The former Kyebando based Boom Torture Squad boss was at some point branded the dancehall king until fresh talent emerged.

In 2012, Toolman made a very vital decision to shift and together with his talent and career, he migrated to try life in German. To many this could have been the turning point but sadly, the former Dancehall king has still failed to impress any good music lover. Despite his highly anticipated “better life” Toolman has been coming back to hold a few concerts in Uganda to gather a few shillings to survive back in German.

It’s at this point that we ask is Tooman’s music career sinking or Shining?
