Musician Cindy back in court.

Singer Cindy has had her eyes opened up by the Obsessions case where they were paid Ushs 60 million by Warid Telecom for using their music. The singer has also taken Spice Vas Africa to court for use of her 4 songs as caller tunez without pay.

The leading mobile value added services company which has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry was dragged to court by a broke Cindy for Ushs17 million which accrued through revenue share and exclusive fees off her music.

Spice Vas Africa which now works with singers Grace Nakimera, Jamal and Julie Mutesasira has been summoned to the commercial court to answer to the charges.

The company has contracts with musicians to sell their songs to telecom companies as caller tunes, who in turn rent out the caller tunes to customers.
