Panadol Wa Basajja Released from Jail.

Panadol Wa Basajja real names Jemimah Kansiime has finally been released from jail after spending one month on remand at Luzira prison.

The local musician had earlier been sentenced to one year jail term for producing x-rated videos that violate the Anti pornography law something she has always denied all the times appeared in court.

Jemimah appeared before the Makindye court yesterday morning and was granted a non-cash bail of shs 1 million by the Chief Magistrate Richard Mafabi after she managed to produce sureties. Panadol was happy after being set free but will appear in court again in January next year. She has promised to give more to her fans.

The local musician Kansiime was arrested along with Producer Didi Muchwa, who was also sentenced to a 4-year jail term but released a week later on bail after paying a fine of Ushs 200,000 leaving her in jail alone.
