Ever since Pope Francis assumed the holy seat of Papacy, the Catholic Church has adopted various reforms.
Among these reforms include the Catholic’s Church’s acceptance of the sexual minorities.
BigEye.ug has learned that the Vatican sent a letter to all Churches around the World asking Bishops to welcome gays and lesbians into the Church.
While speaking to Sex workers, gays and lesbians at Pope Paul memorial Centre in Ndeeba, Archbishop Lwanga echoed the message of love and acceptance: “What’s important is for you to truthfully seek God. You are all welcome to Church. We shall love you as Jesus Christ asked us to. Please help us know how to reduce HIV prevalence among gays.”
The Archbishop’s remarks received applause from the audience which was filled with mainly gays, lesbians and activists.
So to the sexual minorities, the Church awaits you next Sunday.
