Where Kim Kardashian goes, other celebrities follow. Jessie J has bared her bottom for a glossy magazine in a pair of denim chaps.
The singer did leave something to the imagination in her shoot for Glamour magazine, unlike Kardashian who went totally nude in an attempt to “break the internet”.
She is the latest female singer to conclude that the fewer the clothes, the better the publicity. Not for nothing has MTV dubbed 2014 “the year of the butt”.
In the accompanying interview, Jessie said she was proud to be an ambitious woman.
“I’m good at what I do, so I should enjoy every aspect of it,” she said. “I’m nearly 27 and I’m nowhere near done. I feel like I’ve only just got my foot in the door.”
Her plans for the next few years include “charity stuff, a line of perfume, an inspirational book, an acoustic album”, marriage and children.
She dismissed accusations that she is “abandoning” the UK for America, but said she was spending time there to further her career and should not be criticised for it: “I love London. I’m British. [But] I’m not 12. If I want to move to Paris or Zimbabwe, I can.”
