It’s not so many months ago when another member of the Mayanja family decided to break away from his former Leone Island boss Jose Chameleone. AK47 followed the footsteps of his elder brother Weasle and seceded from Leone Island to do his own music, however not all is well with him.
It’s not known whether it’s because of the identity change or, but AK47 seems to be losing it at a terrific speed and this can be noticed on several instances including the dissolving of the newly made duo of him and the 18 and over hit maker, Bakri.
Yesterday was a shocker to the Champion hit maker when he was bounced off a show at a certain industrial based TV station where he was to be hosted to talk about his music. Having prepared thoroughly and posting on his wall that he was going to be on air, a new recruit and a producer of the show bounced him.
As part of the new system at this station, every artiste that is to be hosted on that particular show is supposed to seek permission or should get certified by the producer and this wasn’t the case with AKay. While waiting eagerly, AKay was shocked to hear the producer ask who Akay being announced on the show was.
“Who is Akay?” said the producer. This was an embarrassment to AK47 who sprang off his seat and walked out of the studio in anguish.
The presenter took time to explain to Mr Producer who said he had not recognized him though not taking away the fact that he was not aware of his coming. He then excused him to be on the show but Akay couldn’t stand the embarrassment and therefore headed to his car and drove off.
