After a fortnight’s break, the Uganda Premier League resumes today with eight games around the country and with all teams in action.

Second placed SC Villa host league killers of Kiira Young at the Ssaza stadium in Lugazi after the Blues lost their home unbeaten run when they were defeated 1-0 by the defending champions, Kampala Capital City Authority.

Troubled Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) are home to host a winless Rwenshama at the Namboole stadium. Victoria University are currently going through a rough patch due to financial problems that have left players unpaid for about three months now, according to reports.

Without the command of head coach, Kefa Kisala who has been off for national duty, Jinja based Bul F.C will be away to face off with another winless side, Soana F.C at the Kavumba Recreational stadium in Wakiso. Bul will be under the charges of assistant coach Joseph Mutyaba.

Fred Kajoba is yet another head coach who is likely to miss a Uganda premier league tie when his new side of Bright Stars travel to Lugogo to take on Sadolin at the Phillip Omondi stadium.

Reigning champions Kampala Capital City will travel to Bombo to clash with army side, Simba F.C. Newly appointed coach, Haruna Keba of Simba will be up for another big test when he clashes with George Best Nismbe of the Kasasiro boys.
