Renowned Ugandan Deejay, Dj Aludah, has promised to shape his son, Aaron, into the next football star that will see Uganda Cranes lift their first AFCON trophy.
Speaking about the Guinea loss, the DJ said that the problem with Ugandan soccer is that the team members didn’t start practicing and shaping their football talent early. They only took soccer seriously after becoming adults and this is different in other countries as kids are nurtured to become stars from the first kick.
“Yesterday I was doing a lil football practice with Aaron, told him; ‘Son, I know I promised that you would be the one to lead Cranes to the promised land but seems like they have found their way there without you. This is my new promise, You will help them lift their 1st ever African cup trophy and you will lead them to their 1st world cup’,” he said.
“I guess I spoke abit too soon about taking them to their 2nd ever AFCON. All options are still open. Let’s keep practicing son One day you will be a hero to this land! And guys Remember, Europeans and South Americans are better footballers coz they start learning the basics as soon as the kid makes its 1st step unlike us who start learning the basics at the age of 15! Let’s build the Future,” Aludah added.
