Sylvia Namugenyi is one of the musicians in Uganda that people term as one hit wonders. This is because ever since the Diva came to the spotlight with the banger Mukazi Mufumbo, she has failed to get another hit song. She has since evaporated and little is known about her whereabouts.
Sylvia seems to have decided to hide from the public. However, rumors have it that after the diva failed to make a standing impact musically, she opted for kyeyo in the States.
According to a friend, the last time she heard from her was when she was preparing to travel to the US. It seems Namugenyi might have remained in the States where she had gone to sing along other musicians 2 years ago.
Whether she came back or not, no one knows but if she’s around, then she’s living the most modest life like Mike Ezra
