Uganda Premier League Fixtures Subjected To Slight Changes

The Uganda Premier League (UPL) fixtures that were supposed to be played on Friday 7th November 2014 have been moved to Tuesday 4th November. The UPL management communicated the changes through Paul Kabaikaramu, the Uganda Premier League Manager.

The development follows the forthcoming international friendlies and buildup matches that the Uganda Cranes will play against Ethiopia and Sudan on the 9th and 11th of November respectively before facing Ghana on 15th November 2014 in the 2015 AFCON qualifiers of Group E.

“The Federation of Uganda Football Associations has communicated to us in regard to the friendly match between Uganda Cranes and Ethiopia on Sunday 9th at Mandela National stadium – Namboole. The FUFA Technical team is due to summon players next week with a bulk of them from the domestic league,” reads part of the official statement.

“Basing on the above arrangement, the Uganda Premier League secretariat has moved the fixtures that were scheduled for Friday 7thNovember 2014. Relatedly, the fixtures Vipers FC Vs Rwenshama FC and KCC FC Vs Kira Young FC that were scheduled for Tuesday 4th November 2014 have been moved to a date that will be communicated. This has been done in accordance with Article18 of the Elite League Regulations”, the statement further elaborates.

Fixture of Tuesday 4th November 2014:

1. Bul FC Vs Lweza FC at Kakindu

2. Kira Young FC Vs Bright Stars FC

3. Vipers SC Vs Sadolin Paints FC

4. KCC FC Vs SC VU at Lugogo

5. Police FC Vs Simba FC at Kavumba

6. Express FC Vs Entebbe FC

7. Rwenshama FC Vs SC Villa

8. URA FC Vs Soana FC at Lugazi
