Neera concert is the second successful show Radio & Weasel have had this year, the first being Amaaso-Ntunga album launch. The much anticipated concert was massively attended attracting people from different corners, but mostly ladies. The gates were open by 6pm at which revelers started storming the venue and by 7:30pm ordinary tickets were sold out.
The show kicked off at around 8pm with boring performances from both upcoming and lost artistes, these included; Lexus Kalema, Mad Tiger, Sizza Man, Maurice Hasa, Minayo, Diamond Oscar among others.
Later, Mun*G and Gravity Omutujju stepped up performances, putting revelers in moods of partying and were followed by Jose Chameleone who stole the show after he stepped on stage dressed in Military attire doing his Wale Wale song on live band that saw every one stand up and sing along. It was not long before his son Abba Mayanja joined him.
Bobi Wine also did his thing before the dynamic duo stepped on stage at exactly 11:55pm singing Omanyi Mukama followed by all their old songs such as Bread & Butter, Heart Attack, Camilla among others as their fans cheered on.
At 1:30pm, Radio and Weasel ended the show with Neera song thanking their fans for the massive turn up and shaming their haters and enemies. They also revealed that their former manager Jeff Kiwanuka who they called “emesse”, chewed their money and grew fat as they continued to lose weight but thanked God for surviving him and promised to keep giving the best to their fans.
Despite staging a great performance, the duo looked like they had not rehearsed enough for the show something that everyone could tell from the way their UB5 band was disorganized especially switching from one song to another.
