On Saturday, the Hip Hop extended family gathered at Open House for yet another enchanting edition of End Of The Weak. It attracted innumerable acts in the Hip Hop arena, both locally and internationally. It, surely, was a night of unrivaled bliss as Hip Hop, the ever growing genre, took centre stage. And, for the first time in history, the international End Of The Weak finals were hosted in Uganda. Before Saturday turned Sunday, history was being made at the Buganda Road based Open House. It was a full house, and the place choked with folks who pitched up to see MCs spitting raps on the microphone and engaging in different lyrical battles which the crowd chanted in delight.

End of the weak

There was a catalogue of performances that tamed from Moze the Beat-Boxer, Fasie MC, Pirate, Jolly Jay and H20, Angel Mutoni, Jonzi D, Lyrical G, The Mith, Keko, Atlas Da African, Amy True and St Nelly Sade. The emcees of the day, rap king Ruyonga and Mazzi Soul Purpose did quite a brisk job in the transitioning of the acts and, Ruyonga, particularly, on the rap battles that saw the audience roar thunderously. The music blared endlessly. It was fun-filled gathering of souls either armed with Hip Hop bars, or with a penchant for Hip Hop.

The End of The Weak rap challenge was won by Sledge Lee.
